About Sybrand

Sybrand de Boer is consultant at The Bridge business innovators. He has worked on projects in the fields of growth strategy, new business development and enhancing innovativeness, for companies in various industrial sectors. Sybrand has a passion for technology and innovation and enjoys helping companies with the identification and exploitation of business innovation opportunities.

Before his work at The Bridge, Sybrand worked as a freelance innovation consultant. With his own consultancy firm he conducted research and did various advisory projects on innovation policy and management, for organisations in the healthcare, biotech, materials and sports sectors. He now brings his entrepreneurial spirit into practice within The Bridge.

Sybrand has studied MSc Science & Innovation Management at Utrecht University, and economic geography at the University of California Santa Barbara. During his studies he specialised in renewable energy innovation and did his master thesis research at TNO on the business strategies of entrepreneurs developing sustainable energy technologies.

In addition to his work, Sybrand likes to play hockey and go running, he plays the guitar and piano and has a passion for travelling.
