About Jeroen
Jeroen de Kempenaer (1958) is senior consultant with The Bridge business innovators. In projects he mainly works with companies active in the fields of food, feed, chemistry and pharma. Jeroen has a preference for working on ‘hard' innovation, i.e. breakthroughs with science, technology and products, and making those into business successes. He promotes the use of enabling tools and systems likes I-TRIZ to exact successful innovations. Early 2008 he joined the board of PDMA-NL, the association for innovation professionals.
From 1995 till 2001, Jeroen de Kempenaer worked for Business Creation. In many European countries, he managed restructuring projects for large multinational companies. Aim was to avoid redundancies and closures through redevelopment of new business activities by making optimal use of people, machinery and infrastructure. Before that period, he was involved with strategy and business development at PTT Post. Jeroen de Kempenaer started his career with Heineken. During eight years he had postings as production manager, technologist and brewtechnical advisor in many different countries worldwide He studied chemical engineering in Delft, has an MBA from INSEAD and is a qualified cook.
Jeroen is visiting lecturer at Wageningen UR and TU Delft.
