About Hans
Hans Bakker has over twenty five years of experience with the (re)design and implementation of business innovation programs for large international companies, in a variety of industries. He has managed assignments in various European countries and in the USA. Areas of specific expertise and experience are:
- corporate venturing and entrepreneurship,
- scenario's development and back casting aimed at the identifica-tion of new business opportunities,
- managing Stage Gate development processes,
- approaches to reducing Time to Profit for new business initiatives
In 1988 Hans was founder of NBS&D, New Business Search & Devel-opment, a business innovation consultancy company with operations in Germany, the Benelux, the USA and Japan. This consulting com-pany was founded as a continuation of the European operations of Innotech Corp USA. Until 1988 Hans was managing director of In-notech Europe.
The NBS&D activities have been acquired by The Bridge in September of 2002.
Hans also worked for TNO, the Dutch National Research Organization and for DICO, a furniture company.
Hans Bakker is part-time lecturer at TSM Executive MBA (innovation and new business development) and contributes to the in-company management development programmes of TSM.
