About Fred
Fred Nijland has over twenty years of experience with the creation and implementation of new business in a variety of industries.
His style is "no innovation without the " profitable use ". Therefore creation of new business only makes sense if a company creates real profits with it.
Fred Nijland is as partner responsible for the start up management consultancy activities of The Bridge. Fred works for the many discrete industry customers in areas such as building and con-struction, installation and technical agencies, equipment manufac-turers, energy and telecom companies. Fred's passion is to build bridges between companies and create "new combinations": creating "Senseo's", create the go-to-market approach and actually win the first customers for a new venture.
A crucial aspect in the start up management of new business is commercial success. Fred's second focus is to renew or innovate sales and marketing functions. His passion is to improve commer-cial effectiveness and implement changes (change management) in commercial organizations, commercial divisions and depart-ments. In consulting projects Fred leads projects, and is coach and interim manager.
Six years ago Fred joined The Bridge. Before that he held various positions (marketing manager, account manager, consulting manager) at KPN, Digital Equipment, Eneco Cable Television and Oracle Corporation.
